Here at GRAY PUBLISHING, we accept more than we reject because we believe almost every story has a place in our readers hands. 

 

GRAY PUBLISHING accepts unsolicited manuscripts. 

GRAY PUBLISHING accepts debut authors.

GRAY PUBLISHING continues to sign indie authors who would rather someone else takes the burden of publication, marketing, and ARCs.

 

What are we looking for?

• Mostly, we want fresh stories and fresh voices (we do not accept previously published works).

• Intense, Dark Romance that grabs the reader and never lets go. 

• BDSM and Romantic Suspense is highly sought. 

• Submissions should be between 50-100k word count. We do not accept submissions below this word count. 

• Please Note: If you don’t know what Dark Romance is, then you’re in the wrong place. 

 

What we won’t accept:

The themes listed below are hard limits for us here at GRAY PUBLISHING. While we won’t publish any titles glamorizing or writing these themes in a descriptive manner, we will accept them if they’re sub-plots.

• Paedophilia  

• Underage sex (18+ only)

• Bestiality 

• Snuff 

• Suicide 

 

Genres we won’t accept:

• Historical Romance

• Sci-fi Romance

 

Please submit your manuscript (Microsoft document, double line spaced, 12pt font) to contact@graypublishing.org and address Eli Peters, the GRAY PUBLISHING Manager. Please include a covering letter that lists:

• Author Name

• Word count

• Genre

• Synopsis

• Novel outline (no more than 500 words, including spoilers)

• Achievements (best seller tags/awards, if any).

• Previously published works (if any).
