Welcome to the BLAIRE’S WORLD submission page. Below, you will find all the information you need to submit to GRAY PUBLISHING and hopefully become a part of BLAIRE’S WORLD.

How do I submit to GRAY PUBLISHING and become a part of BLAIRE’S WORLD?

Authors must submit up to 10k words of an already published work to be considered for BLAIRE’S WORLD – this is the submission process.
If GRAY PUBLISHING feels your writing style is a good fit for BLAIRE’S WORLD, you will receive an email response letting you know you have been accepted; the email will also contain a publishing contract.
Email your submission sample in Microsoft Word format, double line spaced at 12pt, to contact@graypublishing.org
Address your email to Eli Peters, the BLAIRE’S WORLD manager.
We do not accept paperback submissions.
Please note: There is a $300 buy-in which will contribute to your publication. $100 of the buy-in is due upon signing the contract. The remaining $200 is due upon your BLAIRE'S WORLD manuscript submission.

If you are accepted to write as part of BLAIRE’S WORLD,

please read the following information.

Your title must be between 30-60k word count.

Your title must be edited to a high standard at your expense.

Your title must be original and never before published.

How do I write as part of BLAIRE’S WORLD?

The nature of BLAIRE’S WORLD is that every title is an alternative spin-off from THE DARK ROMANCE SERIES.

For you character, you can do either of the following:

Create a new character(s).
Request to write an original character(s) who hasn’t be written yet.
ORIGINAL CHARACTERS AVAILABLE:

Tatiana
Arjana
Shane
Sex slaves from BLAIRE Part 1 (at the Prince’s party)
Carl

If you have an original character in mind and would like to write them, please email the BLAIRE’S WORLD manager to see if this is possible.

How do I tie my book into BLAIRE’S WORLD?

Your characters must, in some way, relate to Blaire, James, Maksim, Tatiana, Charlie, or Charlie’s brothers. Here are some examples:

Your character could be a Los Zetas.
Your character could work/have worked for Charlie/Los Zetas.
Your character could work/have worked for Tatiana/Maksim.
Your character could be a slave to either Maksim/Tatiana/Los Zetas.
Your character could be a cop who’s trying to take down an organization tied into THE DARK ROMANCE SERIES or BLAIRE’S WORLD.

You do not have to do any of the above; they are just examples.

What can I NOT do?

You cannot write about Blaire, Charlie, James, Nic, or any of the BLAIRE’S WORLD characters. You can only reference your character either texting, calling or chatting to them about situations that will tie your novel into THE DARK ROMANCE SERIES and/or BLAIRE’S WORLD.
You cannot put any of the characters listed above in compromising situations (such as: making Blaire fall in love/have sexual relations with another character).

What must I do?

Your title MUST be Dark Romance. If you do not know what Dark Romance is exactly, here’s the gist:

Dubious consent (sexual situations between the hero and heroine that do or almost cross a line of being okay).
Make the readers uncomfortable (Your hero will MAKE the heroine fall for him and have him, however he desires).
Dark Romance isn’t fluffy. We want dark, we want dirty, and we want it now. Though, with that being said, we do LOVE romance. I want to fall for your dark-hero as much as the next Dark Romance lover.
Dark Romance must be between the Hero and Heroine.
